The TVCS Performing Arts Program is designed to create a sincere love of music and performance through the appreciation and participation of a successful musical experience. Within the TVCS Performing Arts Program, students experience a variety of musical expression and interpretation while gaining a higher sense of self-worth, discipline, musicianship, and pride. Through a variety of performing arts, students are challenged through a variety of repertoire. Equal to all other classes at this school, the choices students make in regards to participation, behavior, attendance, and commitment have a direct impact on other members. As a result, careful attention to the policies that embrace these issues is most important. Students are always encouraged to put forth their best effort in every part of the process.

Meet the Director:
Ashley Francis Golden is thrilled to be the head of Performing Arts for Temecula Valley Charter School. Mrs. Golden is a 2012 graduate of East Tennessee State University where she studied Music Education with a K-12 Vocal Concentration. During her time at ETSU, she toured in Austria, Hungary, France, and Spain and performed on scholarship with the Opera Theatre, the ETSU Chorale, Show Choir and Jazz Singers.
For over a decade, Mrs. Golden acted as Music Specialist and Choral Director at a large public school outside of Nashville, Tennessee where she also produced, directed, choreographed, and lead music direction for 12 Musicals.
A large number of her students have been asked to sing at the Tennessee Honors Chorus, ACDA National Convention, and TN All-State Chorus. Many former students have gone on to receive numerous vocal scholarships at various performing arts schools across the country.
Mrs. Golden is an advocate for Music Education at all levels and received her Elementary Kodaly Certification in 2019. She has a deep love for all things Music Theatre and is a firm believer in the power of Music to create positive change in the world. She cannot wait to see what the future holds for Temecula Valley Performing Arts!
